We created The Chicken Shop Sessions in response to the evolving music landscape here in Australia – specifically, an environment that has sadly seen festivals cancelled and venues closed right across the country.

Simply, we wanted to share with Aussies what is becoming an increasingly elusive experience: live music.

These restaurant-hosted sessions aim to provide a spotlight to emerging artists… with a little help from some industry superstars.

Our inaugural Chicken Shop Session kicked off on what would have been Splendour Weekend with an electrifying micro-festival where our guests were treated to a powerhouse opening set of high-energy beats from DJ and dance producer Nina Las Vegas.

A change of pace awaited lucky attendees with captivating singer-songwriter, ISHAN, taking to the stage and performing a stripped-down and beautifully-intimate set composed of tracks from his debut EP.

Genre-blending, hip-hop artist, CHAII, followed next with a powerful and distinct performance which will linger like an Extra Hot PERi-PERi tender.

Rounding out the night was an incredible high-energy set by reggae-rock headliners, and Nando’s superfans, Coterie.

Nando’s is excited to be taking The Chicken Shop Sessions on tour across Australia and New Zealand. And the best part? No tickets needed. Just show up, grab a feed, and enjoy the music.
